Brief Description
They are pelagic fishes,fast swimmers and predatory in nature that fights vigorously when caught. Seer fishes are mainly caught using hooks and lines. They are a delicacy in several regions of South India and Sri Lanka. They have very sharp teeth and are handled with care by fishers familiar with them. The Wahoo is one of the more popular in this group for eating. Seer fishes are notorious for their histamine poisoning.

King Mackerel/Spotted Seer fish are very good source of Omega 3 fatty acids which help keep arteries open and allow blood to flow smoothly. Also Omega 3 has anti-inflammatory effects which help sinus, osteoporosis, arthritis and other conditions.Seer fish contains high quantity of protein (21.34%) and calcium and phosphorus which helps in the conditions like osteoporosis and arthritis. Fairly high quantity of Omega 3 fatty acid is another important factor in the seer fish.

Fresh fish! And cleaned as well! The private vendors show one amount on the face page and much higher prices when yoh look to buy it. Also, the fish here is quite fresh and not iced too much. So, we can use it at the tine we get it.
